How long will the oils last?

When used at the recommended settings of 4-8 hours/day an oil bottle will last approximately one month in a Hotel Collection Diffuser. The exact length of time will depend on the usage and fragrance concentration.

Where should I store oils?

Never store oils in direct sunlight. Heat and light can deteriorate their quality and cause oil to evaporate. We encourage you to properly store oils in a dry, cool place.

These oils smell so great; can I use them on my skin?

Since our oils contain pure essential oils and plant essences, do not apply these oils topically as they are in pure, undiluted form. If you get oil on your hands, wash the area with soap and water.

Do Hotel Collection Fragrance Oils have health benefits?

Our formulas maintain all the therapeutic benefits of essential oils and provide maximum versatility and control of the scenting environment.

Our oils are made from the finest plant-derived essences and pure essential oils and have anti-bacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties.

I spilled oil, how do I clean it?

If oil is spilled, thoroughly clean the area (including the unit) with rubbing alcohol. Please remember that these are undiluted essential oils and should therefore be treated with care.

How to Get Oil Off Clothes & Fabrics

Don't fret! We've got you covered. Our editor recently spilled a reed diffuser all over her silk button-up blouse. She knew she wasn't the only one out there who has run into this mishap, so she set out to compile a list so anyone can clean up oil spills with ease.

Editor's Go-to Methods:

• Immediately soak your article of clothing in warm water.

• Gently use a rag or paper towel and soap to lift as much oil as you can.

• Sprinkle baking soda on the affected fabric and allow it to sit for at least one hour. For tough stains, allow your clothing to soak for up to 24 hours.

• If baking soda did not work, try spraying the affected area with a vinegar and water solution and gently rub the stain out.

• Double check the stain is removed. Once satisfied, put the clothing in the wash and dryer.

Returns & Exchanges

You may return or exchange your Hotel Collection products – as long as they have not been used or removed from the original packaging – within 30 days of receiving your order.

All returns and exchanges may be subject to review. If your return is subject to review, you will receive an email from LuMae Retreats Concierge (support@lumaeretreats.com).

Exceptions

Diffuser machines, Hourglass Diffusers and fragrance oils may be returned within the 30 days even after use to ensure satisfaction. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs in the event of a refund request.

Shipping

Once you successfully submit a return, you will receive a shipping label. You must bring your return to any USPS location within 5 days of successfully submitting your return. Please make sure that the item you’re returning is repackaged with all cords, adaptors, bottles, accessories, and documentation that were included when you received it. When returning a diffuser machine or Hourglass Diffuser, please remove the fragrance oil from inside the diffuser before shipping it back, so as to not damage the internal mechanisms of the unit.

Returns, exchanges and store credits

The cost of the return label will be deducted from your final refund or store credit amount as we do not cover return shipping costs. There is no shipping costs for exchanges in person( no shipping requied). For exchanges online, you will need to pay the shipping costs of the new item. Once we receive your return or exchange item, it will be processed and a refund/store credit will be issued within 1-3 business days.

Exchanges

An item can be exchanged for any item available on our website. Once your return is received, it will be processed and your exchange will be sent out within 10-12 business days after your exchange has been received and processed.

Damaged Items

When your order arrives, please inspect the box for any damage that may have occurred during shipment. It is normal for the shipping carton to show some wear, however, if damage occurred to the item(s) in your shipment, please submit a request for a replacement order.

Wines

Due to local liquor laws, customers may not return or exchange any wine product once it has been shipped.

Point of Purchase

Only items that have been purchased directly from LuMae Retreats can be returned to LuMae Retreats. Hotel Collection products purchased through other retailers, affiliates, or distributors must be returned in accordance with their respective returns and refunds policy.

• Remember, it is your responsibility to pack the product safely when preparing your return.

• Please keep in mind that if you have more than one order to return or exchange, you’ll need to input your order number into our Return Portal, and create a return/exchange for each order.

• Do not include orders not processed through our Return Portal in your package as they will NOT be processed.

• Please use the shipping label provided by our Return Portal for proper tracking to take place.

Shipping

LuMaeRetreats.com orders are processed and shipped on business days (Tuesday - Thursday, excluding major holidays). Please Allow 7-10 days for processing and an additional 5-8 days for standard delivery. If an item selected is temporarily out of stock at the time of your order, you will be notified via email and advised of the expected ship date of the backordered item. Backordered items are shipped as soon as they are available. International Shipping

Shipping rates vary per location, due to duties & taxes, and will be converted to your local currency. The exact shipping options for your country will be presented during checkout.

Delivery times vary by destination country. For applicable countries, duties & taxes will either be automatically calculated in the product price or during checkout.

If one of these issues has occurred please email support@lumaeretreats.com. We highly recommend that you purchase the Order Protection shipping insurance. If your order is lost, stolen, damaged in transit, or the wrong item has been sent and you did not purchase the insurance you will be refunded in the form of store credit minus the shipping cost or we can send a replacement, additional shipping charge may apply.
